Chemical Precautions:
Avoid methanol, ethanol, chlorine, perm solutions, and hairstyling products, as these may cause discolouration or paint peeling. Wash hands before use if exposed and wipe scissors clean if contact occurs. Long-term use or storage may cause some harmless discolouration. Always dry scissors after use as oxidation occurs when scissors are stored wet.
Everyday Care:
- Remove hair from blades and knuckle after use.
- Oil blades and joints with an oil pen after use.
- Store in a scissor holder.
- Clean with quality leather chamois.
- Keep blade tension to ½ inch separation.
- Do not dismantle, drop, or use on anything other than hair.
- Do not let others use your scissors.
